The Holiday Jam (2022)

This piece was commissioned by The Voices of Birralee for the 2022 Queensland Day in Song Festival. On the day of the concert the piece was belted out by over 300 singers from seven Brisbane primary schools! You can hear their enthusiasm and excitement, free from school and enjoying days full of fun and adventure.

I must give credit to the 2022 Birralee Singers for their help with writing the lyrics. In its workshopping phase, we spent time brainstorming all of the ways they have spent their summer holidays. It was so much fun to create this together!
