Apollo 11 - Splashdown (2019)
The Apollo 11 Suite was written in collaboration with QYO’s Wind Symphony and fellow UQ composers to celebrate the 50th Anniversary for the landing on the moon. My movement in this suite was Splashdown, where the crew are on their journey home. The music is epic and brass heavy symbolising their triumphant entry back to earth.
Ain’t No Mountain High Enough (Re-invented) (2021)
This reinvention of Ain't No Mountain High Enough was written for the University of Queensland’s collaboration with Opera Queensland, Songs of Love and War. This project saw multiple contemporary songs reinvented and performed alongside Monteverdi’s Madrigals of Love and War. This performance was conducted by Dane Lam and performed by the wonderful UQ Pulse Orchestra.
